Each hiker comes witha pair of 9" long hiking packets but 8" and 11" long packets can be requested in the comment section of the order form.

Darlexx/Neoprene Battened Hiking Shorts
The Battened Hiking Shorts have a laminated Lycra Darlexx front that breathes and is cooler in summer. The back is 3mm nylon-laminated Neoprene. These shorts are thinner for comfort yet firm enough to hold the tough batten pockets in place. Each short has an interior thigh pocket which accepts the batten packets, which are adjustable within this inner thigh pocket. The batten packets are locked into place with both velcro and your muscle pressure against the pocket. Each short comes with a pair of batten packets.

This low cut Lycra fine-knit tight gives both the sailor excellent knee and butt protection . The double butt goes all the way down the back side of the thigh, ending just before the knee on most people. The padded knees are not bulky but add the perfect layer of protections for tacking, down wind work and gybing, a hyperative sailor's dream.
